Presenters

Dr. Megan Adams is an Assistant Professor of Reading Education at Kennesaw State University. She is the Co-Director of the Center for Literacy and Learning and the Coordinator of the M.Ed. in Reading. Dr. Adams taught for nine years in rural, Title One schools in the southern United States. Her research is on marginalized youth and teaching and learning in teacher education.
 
Corrie Tuttle has taught for 12 years, seven in Florida, and the last four in Cobb County GA. She will complete her doctoral studies at Kennesaw State University in May 2017 with an EdD in secondary English education. Currently, Corrie teaches 9th grade English at Osborne High School, a high-needs high school in Cobb County. She has taught 8th -12th grade students and she looks forward to teaching at the college level in the distant future.
