2007 Best of the Web and Digital Education Award

For more than a decade, the Best of the Web awards program has been there to recognize and celebrate the communication efforts made by K-12 state and local district web sites via technological innovations. Entries for this award were submitted from throughout the United States. GeorgiaStandards.Org was the proud recipient of the 2007 Best of the Web and Digital Education Achievement Award.

"[The] entries showed remarkable innovation, " said Marina Leight, vice president of education for the Center for Digital Education. “The K-12 websites continue to improve communication and expand access to learning resources for the students, parents and teachers that they serve."

The Center for Digital Education is a national research and advisory institute on information technology policies and best practices in K-12 and Higher Education. The Center is a division of e.Republic, Inc., a national publishing, event and research company focused on information technology in the public sector.
