The Algebra Content in High School Mathematics video series offers teachers varied instructional strategies when providing instruction on specific Algebra standards taught in the GSE Algebra I, GSE Coordinate Algebra, and GSE Analytic Geometry courses. Presenter Biography

Irina Keith is a mathematics instructor at Calhoun High School. She was honored as the school’s Teacher of the Year in the 2014-2015 school year. Irina serves as a consultant, coach, mentor, and curriculum writer. She has experience in elementary, middle, and high school, which allows her to help students make connections with mathematical concepts and ideas. She has developed and facilitated Georgia Department of Education professional learning sessions, been an integral member of the Georgia Department of Education Resource Revision Teams, and consulted with several Georgia districts in the development and delivery of their professional learning sessions. Irina is currently working on her doctoral degree in Educational Leadership with special interests in developing and implementing effective teacher professional development and student college readiness in mathematics.
